A Jigglypuff took the soapbox and stood on it, proud and tall, and grabbed out her microphone. "Today, Puffy," she said to herself. "Today I'll be able to make people fall asleep with beautiful music." And after her pep talk her bursted out a note that made everyone in the area suddenly bolt away to avoid the horrible sounds. She noticed this and stopped with a sigh. Deflating herself she fell, hoping for someone to pick her up and teach her how to sing right.

A Leafeon heard the note and her ears perked up. She waltzed over to the Jigglypuff with a Pikachu in tow. 'Hi! My name is Aster and this nice Pikachu is Kaiyu. Kaiyu has the most beautiful voice ever, so if you ask nicely, he'll teach you wonders.'

(wow, you caught onto where I was going with this from the first post, congrats x3)

KAiyu took a double take first looking at ASter and then at the jigglypuff. "I will not!" he protested, not really wanting anyone to know about how well he sung or willing to teach anyone. He was not a teacher. He was nothing like a teacher. He had no duties to this Jigglypuff and he had no reason to teach it.

Puffy sulked and sighed. She knew this pikachu would be like the rest. No one could ever teach her or even care to teach her. They would all run from the lost cause at the sound of her voice. Le sigh.

Aster persisted, 'You really want to teach her, Kaiyu, because I'll give you something really nice. Trust me, you'll like it.' She hopped around to face Puffy. 'Please eat this. It's a Mint Berry. I once watched a documentary where a Jigglypuff couldn't sing and eating a Mint Berry restored its voice. If you'll excuse my cruel honesty, you can't sing, so maybe this berry will bless you with a similar beneficial effect.'

Kaiyu shook his head no. "What type of thing do you think you have that would make ME want to teach this Puff how to sing?" Kaiyu rudely asked, also asking for a good slap to the face.

Puffy sighed and ate the berry not believing in its power, and sure enough when she tried to sing again, the same result came out of her mouth. It was disappointing to her and she sighed loudly and sulked yet again.

Aster said to Puffy, 'Maybe the miracle fruit wasn't a Mint Berry. The documentary showed it healing a Jigglypuff who was almost mute; that's a different kind of "can't sing" than yours. Sorry.'

Aster grinned at Kaiyu. 'How about a date with Freia, where she has to do whatever you want? It's quite possible. I will ask Mommy who will ask Baba who will ask Freia.'

Kaiyu's ears perked up at this. "Hmmm.... Maybe I'll take that offer," KAiyu said with a sudden change of heart. I like that.

Puffy nodded and then turned to KAiyu. "How do we start?"

"That I don't know," he sighed.

Aster answers, 'I don't know for sure, but this is what I've heard. First you need to get an idea of the tone you want to achieve. Listen to something really good and think, "I want to sound like that." Please sing for us, Kaiyu. If you don't have a song in particular you want to sing, then please sing "I want to be the very best, like no one ever was..."'

Kaiyu rolls his eyes and starts singing along to Eagle Fly Free, and it was so beautiful that it would have made everyone think that Puffy was singing, not Kaiyu. He sung so beautifully. High and pretty. It made the pair of listeners so warm inside that their wounds started to heal and their hearts began to grow.

Puffy just looked in aw with no words that she could say. She had heard the greatest of Puff singers at Puff music school, but he took the cake. It was just too beautiful.

Aster has heard Kaiyu's voice before, but she forgot how absolutely lovely it was. She completely forgot about instructing Puffy and just listened in rapture. 'Wei-nyaa,' she meowed, and commenced purring.

Kaiyu continued to sing, until alas the song ended, and their hearts went back to normal and everything was how it was before minus a few healed cuts among their bodies.

Puffy looked up at Aster and then Kaiyu and then started to sing. Something weird had happened. It wasn't horrible anymore. It was decent, maybe even good. She sung a sweet song about the rise of an unlikely hero that was tormented by selfish peers, in love with the society of blood, loveless parents who couldn't give a care about their hero besides his occupation, and the girl who tried to make him into an ideal hero. He ignored them all and took his own route, and he was the true hero.

End

(how was that? x3)

(I liked it. Yay for summarizing Kaiyu's story. It's cool that Kaiyu's singing has healing powers.)
