'We've heard this shave stuff makes things feel light and breezy, and there's an experimental factor of shortening. Practical application of Cut may be the next best thing. "uh... excuse me?" the attendant of the salon, who was a Pikachu, asked, while she listened to the Farfetch'd ramble. It did seem like he was right now.

'The chicks go wild for the feathers, bay-bee,' quotes the Farfetch'd.

The Pikachu rolled her eyes and went back to business.

'So you don't accept my patronage?' quacked the disappointed Farfetch'd.

"not unless you have someone to be shaved," she responded.

'Don't I need it?' he quacked, showing off his long feathers in thick rows and patterns.

'I wonder how it's done,' he muses, waddling over to a salon chair, hopping up, and roosting on it.

"You'll see," the Pikachu responds taking out some scissors and a razor. "Now how short do you want your feathers?" she asked.

'Don't clip my wings. In other words, don't Cut anything that would make me unable to use Fly. The remainder is up to your imprecise calculation. Does this store's radio have a jazz station?' quacks the unduck.

The Pikachu shrugged at the question and then looked at the bird. AFter some observations she got the scissors ready to cut.

'Oh come on,' he quacks in an affected tone, 'surely you must take the entertainment of your customers into account.'

The Pikachu shrugs and says, "Most of the people here, love the sound of razors." She starts to clip Harry's feathers right next to the wing.

'Razor Wind does produce a pleasant noise,' agrees the Farfetch'd. 'What's your name, zappy lass?'

"My name is Savovi," the Pikachu responded while still cutting the bird's feathers.

'That must mean you're not related to Kaiyu,' remarks the bird.

SAvori looked at him weird and stopped cutting. "huh? Who is Kaiyu and how does that make it that I'm not related to him?" she asks him.

The Farfetch'd grins cockily. How can something with a beak grin? I told you he was an odd bird. 'Why, your response indicates that you two aren't related.'

"True," she agrees, "But still!"

'Kaiyu's another Pikapika and i can tell you're not related to him from a premonition. That's a function of the studies of space-time distortion,' he lies, trying to look scientific.

She looks at him incredulous and just shrugs and continues to cut the bird's feathers.

The Farfetch'd nods sagely.

When she's done she says, "I'm all done sir." She smiles and admires her work.

The Farfetch'd takes a look in one of the salon's mirrors. He quacks, 'No ma'am, i don't like it. That said, in what currency would you like payment?'
