Eevee traps (Salyu)

Claire guesses, 'By the looks of things, especially your attraction to the bait of Chuchu feet, you must be the famed Salyu. Have we met before? Glad to see you.' She turns to the Vaporeon. 'But you don't look familiar at all. What's your name and your relationship to Salyu?' She inserts before they answer, 'Oh me? I'm Yip9's Lanturn, Hoenn Auxiliary championship team member and Prisca the Dewgong's personal torturer, er, I mean trainer and good pal.'

Salyu nods. "Yes I am Salyu, Now who told you about me and why do you want to meet me?"

Enno speaks, "Hi, I'm Enno a close friend of Salyu's."

The Lanturn sweeps a fin, making a broad gesture. 'No one had to tell me about you. You're well-known in the PTA, which some of Yip9's Pokemon frequent. I want to meet you because you're cute and fun. You picked a good Prince Charming. Another Eeveelution is always a good thing. Now, how did you want to get revenge on me?'

(Yes, I do have too many characters. Haven't even finished the stories of the ones who are supposed to be my main characters and here I am developing others, but I'm loving it. Claire did appear before but she didn't have much of a chance to develop.)

Salyu shrugs, "You don't have feet nor fur so that rules out my usual methods." This made her sigh. She liked her usual methods. Now she was going to have to have to think of something else. Bleh... Well at least she got some compliments. Yay compliments.

(lol I have too many chars too x3 it's ok. And what unfinished stories are these? and I'm doing the same thing >W< lol I really like Aster and Freia still. I wanna do more rps with them or to continue the ones we have *glare*)

Claire flaps her forefins about and grins. 'It's good to break out of the old mold. Promotes creativity. A certain trainer could use a little of that.'

(And that would be why he hasn't continued the Aster+Freia RPs)

Salyu sighed, "Yea I know but I love those things. Just GAH!"

(huh? and why is that?)

I wish I could make friends with this Eevee, muses the Lanturn. Word on the street has it she is so likable and even epic.

'Water Shield,' says Claire dreamily, and a water bubble forms around her, lifting her off the ground where she hovers. She floats next to Salyu and commences swimming circles around her, whispering loudly, 'Teach me to fly!'

(Italics around 'fly' for emphasis, not thought. This is what I hate about writing. You can't convey voice intonation of certain words in a sentence, but the sentence is only really meaningful with that intonation.)

Salyu watches Claire confused. "How could I teach you to fly? I don't even know myself!" She watches the Lanturn do its tricks and such.

The Lanturn continues to swim circles around the Eevee. 'You can't fly?' teases Claire, 'but you're epic. I thought all epic things could fly. It's ok. Share with me a mewpower.'

Salyu shrugs and teleports herself from where she is to a little bit away. "I can do that," She says.

'That way solid objects can't stop you. Very useful,' she comments. 'I've heard of this thing called a mewsearch. Can you do that?'

SAlyu nods, "I can do it, why?"

Claire attempts a mysterious grin. 'So you can search for the world's desire.'

Salyu looks at her confused with an eyebrow raised and asks her, "What's the world's desire?"

Claire gives Salyu a meaningful look. 'Apparently you have to search for it.'

Salyu just stared at her confused and wanting to know more information then the obvious and said, "ok...."

Claire does a few mid-air backflips. 'If you don't know what the world's desire is, mewsearch and maybe you'll discover it.'

Salyu continues to look at her in that way and tells her, "That makes absolutely no sense at all."

Claire swims circles around Salyu. 'You'll know the world's desire when you've found it. It hides from you yet draws you.'

Salyu was getting annoyed by this and turned away from her. "This is really confusing!" she spat out.

The fish-like creature pats the ticked off fox-like creature on the shoulder. 'It's okay. Even Confucius was confused.'

Salyu just looks at her with a look of even more annoyance and sighs to herself.

'This is suspiciously cool,' says Claire. 'On a certain route it always rains, yet it never floods and while the grass is tall, berries don't grow there faster than usual. If the weather is changed to Hail, a Sandstorm, or a Sunny Day, it quickly returns to rainfall. Also sometimes lightning crackles and shines, yet no one is ever struck with Thunder. Someone wants to change the weather to a Sunny Day for good and less radical fellows aspire to nullify the area's special weather effects. What say you? Would you like to investigate?'

Salyu shrugs seeing nothing wrong in investigating and agrees, "Sure," She says with a smile on her furreh face.

As they start out they run into a pack of Poochyena. 'Eevee,' one barks.

'Cute,' barks another.

'Very.'

'Tasty.'

'Even more.'

'Fish.'

'Ugly.'

'Tasty.'

'Hope so.'

'Get'm!'

The poochies charge the 'vee and 'turn, sniffers ready, breath bated, and teeth bare.
