A game of Magic (Yip)

Chiaki walks around the area still training to be a great magician. She figures to look all around the area to try to find someone that she could show her training off to, and would be willing to see her tricks. Even though she knew that most of them usually failed. She had confidence this time and she was going to successfully pull off her tricks no matter what!

An Ivysaur whose tulip has been severed wanders in search of a new flower to plant. It wonders whether it would be best to grow another Ivysaur standard tulip, a berry-producing flower, an imported flowering vegetable, or something more magical. In its meandering, it comes upon the self-styled magician of a Pikachu.

The Magicianchu smiles at the Ivysaur and goes up to it. "Hello there," she greets it kindly with a smile. "Can I interest you in showing you some of my magic?" she asked it happily.

'Magical Leaf is always pleasant, and I would find it delightful to see a Pikachu who can use it, or maybe you have mastered Magic Coat or acquired the ability Magic Guard. Those would be an enchanting sight as well,' replies the Ivysaur with a grin.

Chiaki shakes her head quickly, "It's none of that!" she states not wanting the Ivysaur to get the wrong idea of what her magic was. "it's hard to explain," she tried to explain. "But I'll show it to you! ><;;;"

'All right,' says the Ivysaur, excited. 'Show me this inexplicable magic of yours.'

"Ok," Chiaki cheered before getting out a deck of cards. She then showed the cards to Ivysaur. "Pick a card, any card."

The Ivysaur selects a card, the ace of diamonds.

Chiaki giggles and states, "Now don't show it to me and insert it back in the deck in a random location." She hands the deck to the Ivysaur.

The Ivysaur does so, inserting the card nine cards away from the bottom of the deck.

"Ok!" cheered Chiaki once again before shuffling the deck. "Now close your eyes :3"

'Sorry, but I don't know you well enough to trust you to not try anything while I'm blind,' objects the second-form grass-poison type.

"Eep!" she says not knowing what to do. "Well ok," she says, trying to think of how to continue the trick.

'It's just that I can't know whether you'll try to attack me while my eyes are closed,' explains the Ivysaur. 'Would you mind if one of my friends watches you while I close my eyes?'

"That would be fine," Chiaki states with a happy smile on her face.

A Sunflora sprouts in front of them and instantly grows to its full size. 'My assistance was requested?' it queries.

'Yes, indeed,' remarks the Ivysaur. 'I'm going to close my eyes so this Pikachu can work her magic. Please keep watch to ensure she doesn't do anything stupid.'

The Sunflora giggles and smiles its assent.

The Ivysaur shuts its peepers. 'Good luck, magic lady.'

"Thank you," Chiaki smiles as she prepares her trick. She shuffles the deck many times and after all these times she places a card on the top of Ivysaur's head. "Wait for it...." she quickly muttered to herself.

'Is it going to explode?' queries the Sunflora, concerned.

'Pikachu can't learn Explosion, so I wouldn't worry about it,' reassures the Ivysaur.

And it explodes in a big bang of orange, red and blue colors. It looks like beautiful fireworks to any onlookers that happen to catch the spectacle.

'Oh my,' says the Sunflora, getting blasted a mile or two away.

'I knew I couldn't trust you,' is what the Ivysaur may have been justified in saying, but it's not that kind of fellow. 'Your magic is beautiful and what's even better, it reduces a lot of HP.' The Ivysaur refrains from saying, 'I'm surprised I haven't fainted yet,' instead exclaiming, 'I feel enlivened to grow. I'd like my flower to combine beauty and usefulness. Please give me your ideas.'
